What belongs to your practice

Your data. Your process. Your work.

The knowledge you put into your tools is part of your practice. We run the service that keeps those tools available.

What belongs to you

Your client information

Your contacts, documents, and client history belong to your practice. Portability means being able to take that information with you in a usable form.

The way you work

The workflows and practice-defined tools you shape in Studio reflect your team’s knowledge. Our ownership principle is that this work should travel with you, too.

The service and your agreement

What your subscription covers

We run the servers, updates, security, and archive. Your subscription pays for that ongoing service; Assists cover eligible work performed through it.

What to confirm before you start

Discuss which data and practice-defined work you can export, the formats available, and what you would need to use it elsewhere. Specific ownership and service terms belong in your agreement.

Your firm’s separate database supports keeping its records together. It does not mean you need to operate the underlying service yourself.
